By accessing or using StudyRush ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

StudyRush is an AI-powered learning platform that helps you study more effectively by transforming your notes and materials into interactive study content including:

  • AI-generated lessons and summaries
  • Smart flashcards with spaced repetition
  • Interactive mind maps
  • Practice quizzes
  • AI chat tutor for Q&A
  • Audio lecture transcription

3. Account Registration

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use StudyRush. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized access to your account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Free and Premium Features

StudyRush offers both free and premium (StudyRush Unlimited) features. Premium features require an active subscription.

Subscription Plans

Premium subscriptions are available on weekly, monthly, and yearly billing cycles. Prices are displayed in the app at the time of purchase.

Billing

Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Payments are processed by the respective platform according to their terms. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Free Trial

We may offer a free trial period. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged for the subscription plan you selected.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period.

5. User Content

Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to StudyRush (text, documents, images, audio recordings). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content for the purpose of providing the AI-powered features.

Content Guidelines

You agree not to upload content that:

  • Infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Contains illegal, harmful, or offensive material
  • Violates any applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempts to harm or exploit the Service

AI-Generated Content

Study materials generated by our AI (summaries, flashcards, quizzes, etc.) are created based on your input. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying the accuracy of generated materials.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
  • Use automated systems to access the Service
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Resell or redistribute the Service

7. Intellectual Property

The StudyRush app, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

8. Disclaimers

Service Availability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

AI Accuracy

While our AI strives to provide helpful and accurate study materials, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content. StudyRush is a study aid and should not be relied upon as the sole source of information for academic purposes.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, academic performance, or any damages resulting from reliance on AI-generated content.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through appropriate legal channels.
